Welcome to Mr. Drake's Webpage

1. The pictures above are of my mother Billie who has been a Kindergarten Teacher for over 20 years, my daughter Maya who is 21 months old and myself.

2. The other picture is my son Dylan now 5 1/2 years old and Maya.

-Not pictured is my beautiful wife Mina.

3. This is my 15th year teaching Physical Education. ( I have 6 previous years teaching on the High School level).

4. This is my 8th year teaching at Price.

5. I typically coach Boys and Girls Basketball and Boys Volleyball.

6. My hobbies and interests include: personal fitness, travelling, movies, reading, going to church with my family, and motivating my students to better themselves.

7. My philosophy of teaching is "tough love. I have high expectations for my students and expect them to set goals and give their personal best effort.

8. My classroom environment would be described as positive, fun, and challenging.

9. An educational goal is to teach 21 more years until the age of 60( and still be able to do 20 push-ups)

10. My favorite NBA team is the Los Angeles Lakers (since Magic Johnson's rookie year of 1980).

11. I was voted "Teacher of the year" at my last school Pacific Heights M.S.
