Music ProgramsThe Cambrian School District follows the Orff-Schulwerk approach to fostering creativity and conveying musical knowledge and skills. General Music Progra for K-5 Students All Sartorette students participate in our general music program. Each class has music instruction once a week for the fall semester. The general music curriculum follows the Orff-Schulwerk approach, which allows students to explore, imitate, improvise and compose music through singing, body percussion, playing pitched and un-pitched percussion instruments, and movement. Elementary Choir Program The District Choir Program is under the guidance of Tiffany Barry. Cambrian Summer Music Program 2009 There are many opportunities for young people during the summer, yet music camp enrollment has been on the rise because of the positive impact it plays on a child’s overall development and musical skills. During Cambrian’s Summer Music Program, students will associate with talented and enthusiastic instructors and peers, and experience a wide range of musical activities.
